Extensive in-depth experience with an object-oriented programming language including C#, and .NET 4.8 or later, or Java, or C, etc. Experience in ALL of the following: DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and basic HTTP protocols. Experience designing and implementing REST API methods to query complex database systems. Experience with SQL using T-SQL, LINQ, PL/SQL and stored procedures. They will be responsible for building web interfaces and APIs that integrate with vendor-hosted software. JOB DESCRIPTION The contractor will serve as the lead full-stack developer for the uAchieve Degree Audit Implementation project, which is part of the campus-wide Student Information System Upgrade initiative. They will be responsible for building web interfaces and APIs that integrate with vendor-hosted software. They will be expected to have experience developing enterprise-level applications using an object-oriented programming language, such as C# or Java. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of uAchieve Degree Audit and corresponding table structure and data models. Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of the Family Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA)* and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA). *(Previous FERPA experience is not necessary; we will require the candidate selected for hire to complete our standard FERPA training). Experience developing enterprise-level applications using ASP.NET Web Forms and IIS deployment. Analytical skills to evaluate current business processes and to develop automated solutions to enhance the data management functions of current processes. Writing skills to develop technical and operational manuals. Excellent interpersonal skills and oral communication. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience in database design and tuning techniques. Experience upgrading enterprise-level applications to .NET Framework 4.8 or later. Experience with automation and integration solutions such as MuleSoft. Experience and proficiency in data interchange between MS SQL Server and Oracle. Understanding of DevOps best practices and modern source control technologies.
