Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency. At least 12 years hands-on experience as a systems and storage engineer Detailed knowledge of Linux (OEL, RHEL, CentOS) utilities and programs Expertise version control systems (Git, SVN), automated build and testing (Jenkins, vagrant) Expertise in K8 platform be it on-premises or Cloud. Experience using at least one cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure) Understanding of Storage platforms (NetApp, Isilon, Object Storage etc.) Experience with configuration management (e.g. Puppet, Ansible) is required. Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade hardware platforms - x86-based. Hands on experience in virtualization technologies (VMWARE, KVM, containers) Experience automating workflows with Python, Ruby, go. Expert of IPv6, DNS and DHCP Expert knowledge in operating systems, networking stack, TCP/IP, Linux bridges & network interface drivers is desired. Understanding Systems/App security and encryption Strong debugging and problem-solving skills are a must. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Description Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest availability of services in all environments including production. You will get to design, deploy, and manage computing servers and virtual operating environments running critical services such as virtual network routers and firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.
