Provide a short description of the Position: The consultants will be responsible for working with ITS technical staff and business subject matter experts to document transactions, workflows, user roles, etc. of legacy (PeopleSoft HCM) human resource systems and to develop test artifacts necessary to perform QA and UAT of the legacy applications as part of platform upgrade projects. The consultants will also work with business subject matter experts to document business requirements, use cases, workflows, user roles, etc., and develop testing artifacts for functionality not currently delivered in the legacy human resource systems. REQUIREMENTS: Business Analyst Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. 84 Months Experience eliciting then analyzing the stakeholders business needs using a variety of analysis techniques and converting those into verified and validated functional and non-functional requirements for development. 84 Months Experience in creating and maintaining software development artifacts for communication of requirements, including context diagrams, textual use cases, swim lane diagrams, report specifications, wireframes, user interface specifications, and non-functional requirements specifications. 84 Months Experience facilitating requirement workshops, JAD sessions and structured walkthroughs, practicing effective communication to ensure requirements are understood, conveyed, and met. 48 months experience utilizing PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) 24 months experience with the developing test plans for the project and with overseeing system changes or enhancements to ensure user and program requirements are met. 36 months experience with fit / gap analyses (business needs vs delivered COTS functionality) to assess the need for customization of a proposed COTS products like Enterprise resource planning (ERP) e.g., Salesforce, PeopleSoft, CRM, Service Management) tools. 24 Months experience working on application integration or data integration initiatives. 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field The consultants will perform business analysis tasks including, but not limited to, the following: 1. Document the functionality of legacy human resource applications (PeopleSoft HCM) using recognized business analysis methods, and ITS standards and templates; 2. Validate legacy system functionality with technical and business subject matter experts; 3. Document and validate requirements for new functionality using ITS standards and templates; 4. Lead requirements sessions with ITS and business staff; 5. Effectively communicate business and process requirements to ITS and business staff, and Program leadership; 6. Develop test plans and other artifacts for QA and UAT; 7.
