| Client Accenture Job Title Oracle Financials - General Ledger Consultant(R12) Location SAN FRANCISCO CA 94105 Onsite Duration 12 + months Job Description/ Roles & Responsibilities Client is looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with expertise in Oracle Financials, particularly the General Ledger module. This hybrid role requires a candidate who is local to San Francisco, CA and can work both on-site and remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional understanding of Oracle Financials, core account setups, and extensive experience in support projects. This role involves providing functional support, handling critical issues, and collaborating with offshore teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide functional support for Oracle Financials General Ledger, addressing and resolving issues related to core account setups. Manage and resolve P0/P1 issues efficiently. Handle month-end issues and book closures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Offer guidance and assistance to offshore teams, addressing their questions and ensuring smooth collaboration. Support Application Management Services (AMS) projects, leveraging previous exposures to similar projects. Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless support and issue resolution. QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience with Oracle Financials, specifically in the General Ledger module. Strong Functional knowledge of core account setups within Oracle Financials. Demonstrated experience in handling support projects and resolving complex functional issues. Exposure to AMS projects is highly desirable. Ability to manage and resolve critical (P0/P1) issues independently. Experience in handling month-end issues and book closures. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide effective solutions and guidance. Ability to communicate effectively with both onshore and offshore teams.
