Tittle: Infrastructure Engineer Contract Type: 6 months contract Immigration Status: USC or GC only (NEED LOCALS) Pay Rate : $60-$63hr/C2C Interview Schedule: -Interview with hiring manager/teammate -Interview with CIO Important Skills: Expert networking skills: need to be 8 of 10; not CCIE level but CCNP; will not be working with this hands on but needs that depth of knowledge; cert does not need to be valid so long as knowledge is there; networking is primary function Hiring manager wants a resource that can handle the networking side with some knowledge of Palo Alto (PAN) firewalls. He wants a PAN resource that can make changes to Panorama, Prisma Access, and firewall changes. Hiring manager is burning the candle at both ends and he needs help. He wants an engineer that has OSPF knowledge. SME believe we should be targeting a security engineer with some networking knowledge. On a scale of 1 to 10: o Networking: 8 o Pan: 7 o Nutanix: 2 Palo Alto firewalls Prisma Access Global Protect VPN Experience with Microsoft ADS, VMWare ESX and Nutanix Certifications: Not CCIE level but CCNP; will not be working with this hands on but needs that depth of knowledge; cert does not need to be valid so long as knowledge is there Palo Alto Certificate Strongly Preferred Years of Experience: 10 Background requirements: standard ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These may include but are not limited to: Microsoft Windows Active Directory Administration User and group management, Network Services, File Services, Interoperability with M365 Environment. Experience creating and managing Azure applications and access. Okta SSO environment administration and interoperability with business applications, including authentication and security. Ability to design and implement LAN and WAN networks to support future expansion of the network. Configure and support PaloAlto firewalls, including security and NAT policies, WAN and VPN configuration. Manage VMWare and Nutanix environments functionality, maintenance, optimization, hardening. Collaborate with Director of Cyber Security to implement network and application security hardening and monitoring. Managing on-premises and cloud backup solutions. Implement and manage Enterprise Wi-Fi. Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft 365 technologies including Azure / Entra, Intune. Patching and updating of all on-prem infrastructure hardware across the enterprise. Assist with configuration of video conference equipment for Zoom rooms including Poly and Shure devices. Act as level 3 support on Service Desk escalated issues impacting end user services and equipment. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years related corporate experience. Minimum current CCNA certification required, CCNP strongly preferred. Expert level knowledge configuring and maintaining Okta. Experience programming Meraki, Dell, and Brocade switches. Experience configuring Meraki and Ubiquity Wi-Fi solutions. Experience configuring and maintaining PaloAlto firewalls, Prisma Access / Global Protect VPN. PaloAlto certification strongly preferred. Hands-on experience with Microsoft ADS, VMWare ESX and Nutanix virtualization technologies, SQL Server, Terminal Services. Solid understanding of TCP/IP and network services such as DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, RADIUS, ACLs, NAT, VDI, etc. Experience with network and endpoint management and security solutions including Intune, Manage Engine, Lansweeper, TeamViewer, PRTG, Rapid 7, anti-virus. Expert troubleshooting skills including ability to use Wireshark. Able to lift and move existing and new system components (i.e., Servers, Printers, Switches, etc.) Availability evenings and weekends for projects and mission-critical issues. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Strong Interpersonal and Communications (oral and written) skills. Works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires and in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with validated systems and change control strongly preferred. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Equipment: Experience with switches, firewalls, physical and virtual servers, PCs, scanners, voice mail and e-mail systems, VoIP telephone systems/PBX, video conference systems, and common office machines, or ability to be trained. Knowledge of other equipment required: Diagnostic and repair of desktop, laptop, and server hardware. Software Knowledge : Windows, MS Office 365 platform and suite of tools, Remedy Force, Manage Engine, Lansweeper, Team Viewer, Okta, Zoom.
