Title : Microsoft Power Platform Developer Location : Onsite meetings required when notified. Candidate must pick up the laptop onsite in Richmond, VA (REMOTE BUT LOCALS ONLY) Rate : $50/hr Visa : USC/GC Client : State of VA Must have state client experience JD : Overview: We are seeking a Power Platform Architect to support a digitization effort aimed at transitioning paper-based records to a digital format for storage and management in SharePoint. The role involves advising on and implementing SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform solutions to streamline access to information across the agency. Responsibilities: Advise customers on SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform features and how they apply to their unique needs. Implement an agency-wide records and document management automation system. Collaborate with stakeholders to create a consistent, user-friendly design and implementation approach. Understand and apply records management principles/rules based on individual customer requirements. Create complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate. Apply user UI/UX best practices to ensure 508 compliance, adherence to design standards, and provide a seamless user experience. Understand and troubleshoot security issues, customer questions, and other inquiries as needed. Understand and apply approved standards and processes. Develop a SharePoint Records Center using retention labels to manage required retention policies, creating and managing file plans, and building simple workflows and processes. Develop solutions that comply with existing security protocols and guidelines. Identify and escalate items that are architecturally significant and thereby affect development design/approach/solution. Engage in consistent and ongoing interactions with customer subject matter experts. Facilitate trainings and education opportunities. Other duties as needed. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience as a SharePoint and/or Microsoft Power Platform Developer. Minimum 3 years of UI experience. Minimum 3 years of UX experience. Minimum 3 years of experience developing custom SharePoint solutions. Ability to manage Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center. Experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and metadata management. Extensive knowledge and experience with Power Platform Components (PowerApps, Power Automate/Flow, Power BI, Power Pages, etc.), Migration manager, etc. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform development.
