Job Title: Senior IT Security Analyst Location: Dimondale, Michigan - Need locals only to MI Contract: 1 year with possible extension Top Skills & Experience: 5+ years of IT Security experience Proficiency with vulnerability management scanning and reporting tools Experience in trend analysis and creating dashboards using data scripting Strong ability to work independently and efficiently Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, implement, and maintain vulnerability scans for complex devices using modern tools. Troubleshoot technical issues with scans to ensure safe and timely scanning. Support vulnerability management scanning and reporting tools. Conduct internal vulnerability audits of servers, network devices, applications, and other devices. Provide detailed remediation efforts to internal and external auditors. Integrate vulnerability management data with other State of Michigan services. Analyze large datasets to measure the effectiveness of vulnerability remediation. Recommend security improvements to reduce vulnerabilities across various agencies. Perform trend analysis, create dashboards using data scripting, and generate management reports. Escalate issues as needed.
