| Elastic Engineer who can do Development and Administration. Location: Saint Louis, MO for 3 days. Duration: Long Term 3 Days onsite and 2 Days Remote in a week Responsibilities: 1. Should have experience with Grok Patterns, Painless Scripting and ES|QL. 2. Design, develop, deploy, and maintain the enterprise logging platform using ELK. 3. Have good experience with Implementing Elastic Cluster on Kubernetes using ECK. 4. Contribute in design understanding the architectural tradeoffs including Scalability, Resiliency, High Availability and Security Perform capacity planning and solution review related to the ELK environment. 5. Implement solutions to analyze business data and architect data structures using Elastic Search. 6. Develop and manage high volume data ingestions and real time data flow processes. 7. Work with data log streaming platforms and tools to ingest data from systems, applications, and access logs. 8. Design and build multi-tenant dashboard solutions. 9. Establish and maintain operational best practices for smooth operation of large Elastic solutions. 10. Actively contribute to improving the ELK ecosystem. 11. Optimize and tune the ELK environment (File beat, log stash) to meet the performance requirements. 12. Partner with developers in building best practices for the data warehouse and analytics environment. 13. Investigate emerging Elastic advancements that relate to our customer's needs and implement those upgrades. Basic Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent 2. 5+ years hands-on experience with supporting Elasticsearch in production, handling medium to large clusters. 3. Experience in setting up ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Log stash, Kibana stack) to process data from multiple data sources. 4. Experience with Kibana visualization strategies, controls and techniques. 5. Experience with Elasticsearch index configuration options, sharding, aliases, etc. Experience with Elastic API Integration. 6. Experience with SQL and optimization of queries. 7. Experience with CI/CD. 8. Experience with buffering tools like Kafka, Redis. 9. Exposure to Amazon Elasticsearch, Elastic Cloud, Pivotal Cloud foundry. 10. Understand the Security and Access management concept. 11. Should be ready to support production elastic applications with on call over the weekends on rotation basis. 12. Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. 13. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. 14. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. 15. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. 16. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 17. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. 18. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 19. 5- 10 years of experience.
