(This is a contract-only role, Only USC , GC ,GC EAD but candidates must have technical expertise for the role) A contractor is needed to assist with BAU activities and projects for the Enterprise Sterling File Gateway shared file transfer platform, such as vulnerability remediation, product lifecycle upgrades, and senior L3/engineering support for the product. Job Description : Product Manager location: Pittsburgh, PA (hybrid Onsite) Contract : 6+ Months Experience: 10+ Years The file transfer engineer will join the Global File Services-Engineering group, which manages the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company to transfer files internally and externally. The file transfer engineer's main responsibilities will be as follows: Enhancement of the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company with the addition of file scanning capabilities Lead the technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform distributed application systems Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes and interfaces with other systems Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating coding, testing, change implementation, and documentation Required skills 10-15 years of relevant work experience required Extensive experience with developing and supporting distributed applications Extensive knowledge of the company's total computing environment, including all key IT functions, interdependencies, and business impact of future IT plans Engineering-level knowledge of IBM Sterling File Gateway Suite Linux OS Scripting (Shell, Python) Preferred Skills Prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies Strong written and verbal communication Self-driven Dependability Organization (e.g., Time management, Task prioritization) Positive attitude Multitasking Engineering level managed file transfer product knowledge (IBM Sterling Connect: Direct, Bizlink) Keywords: information technology green card Pennsylvania Hiring Product Manager at Pittsburgh, PA (hybrid Onsite) [email protected] |
