As a specialist in Grafana and Grafana Loki, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring solutions to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. Responsibilities: Design and develop monitoring solutions using Grafana and Grafana Loki to track system metrics, logs, and traces. Create and customize dashboards in Grafana to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Configure alerts and notifications in Grafana to proactively identify and resolve issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define monitoring strategies. Optimize existing monitoring setups to improve efficiency and scalability. Troubleshoot and debug monitoring issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Grafana and Grafana Loki. Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Grafana-related tasks. Document monitoring processes, configurations, and solutions for knowledge sharing. Participate in on-call rotations to respond to critical incidents and escalations. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience working with Grafana and Grafana Loki in a production environment. Strong proficiency in creating custom dashboards and panels in Grafana. Expertise in query languages such as PromQL for data retrieval and visualization. Experience with log aggregation, indexing, and querying using Grafana Loki. Solid understanding of monitoring concepts and methodologies. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Grafana or related technologies. Experience with time-series databases like Prometheus. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
