Mandatory Skills Strong communication- some teams will have Execs or VPs in the role of product manager or business owner, so a level of maturity is expected in this position Certified Scrum Master with hands on experience Hands on SAFe experience Able to coach a team on adopting agile ways of working; candidate doesnt have to be Agile Coach but if they meet items 1 &2 above, should be good here JIRA experience- able to create and use dashboards and charts for measuring team This client will be reviewing candidates against the following criteria so candidates should be prepared to highlight and speak to the following: Program Management experience, knowledge, and education Strategic and Achievement Behavior Customer Relationship Skills Communication and Organizational Competencies Agile skills Job Description: Scrum Master is an coach in assisting agile teams in meeting their delivery goals through agile practices. Roles and responsibilities Facilitates adoption of agile values and principles, and ensuring that the team knows how to plan, execute, review, and retrospect based on agile practices. Coaches on consistent delivery of iteration goals under scrum practices and flow improvements under Kanban practices. Trains and coaches teams on using Jira efficiently and effectively Ensure Jira is the source of truth with timely updates for work and risks/issues. Coaches teams on how best to design a work breakdown structure in Jira and adhering to Jira guidelines and standards applicable to the Value-Based Platform (VBP) Program. Proactively identifies and resolves impediments. Promotes cross team collaboration on dependency management and thought partnership. Fosters a positive environment for high performance teams through self-organization, self-management, continuous improvements, and increased effectiveness of agile practices. Facilitates iteration events including daily standup, sprint planning, backlog grooming, team demo, and retrospective. Facilitates program increment planning. Attends Agile Release Train (ART) sync and systems demos. Skills and experiences 3 years or more as a scrum master. Scrum master certification. 3 years or more as an advanced-level Jira user. 2 years working experiences in healthcare. 3 years or more large program management experience is a plus.
