Role: Storage Engineer Locations: Chicago, IL/ New York, NY (Hybrid Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Must Have: More than 10 years of experience working on the storage Infrastructure Manage system performance, reliability and availability to service level agreements. Ensure that hardware and application security and controls meet or exceed guidelines. Develop, manage and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for all managed systems. Design rollouts of system enhancements and upgrades. Nice to Have: Hands on experience in a GDPS, Global Mirror, Metro Mirror, HiperSwap environment. Experience installing and configuring IBM Mainframes, Virtual Tape systems, and DS8000 DASD. Knowledge of dataset structures. (PDS, PDSE, GDG, VSAM, etc.). Experience Administering DFSMS policies and constructs. Knowledge and experience with IBM Flashcopy process. Knowledge of FDR/ABR and DFDSS. Experience with CA1 Tape Management Software. Experience with TDMF.
