Responsibilities: Kubernetes Mastery: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, focusing on performance, resilience, and scalability. Observability Champion: Implement monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus and Grafana to gain deep insights into our infrastructure. Networking Guru: Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including ingresses, load balancers, and certificate management. Security Advocate: Implement security protocols (SSL/MTLS, GRPC) and safeguard our cloud environment. Database Expertise: Manage and optimize databases (NoSQL: Couchbase, Cassandra; Relational: Oracle, PostgreSQL). Cloud-Native Enthusiast: Leverage cloud-native solutions (SNS/SQS, ElasticSearch, Solr) to enhance system efficiency. Troubleshooting Ace: Diagnose and resolve issues with Java applications and cloud infrastructure. Essential Qualifications: Proven Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure. Kubernetes Stack: Deep understanding of the core Kubernetes stack, including experience with Rubix. Observability Skills: Expertise in Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting. Networking Acumen: Strong knowledge of networking concepts and cloud networking configurations. Security First: Experience implementing security protocols and best practices for cloud environments. Database Proficiency: Experience with NoSQL and relational databases. Cloud-Native Savvy: Familiarity with cloud-native solutions and their integration into systems. Java Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in Java applications. Desirable Skills: Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation. Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
