As an OpenText Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining OpenText solutions tailored to our publishing needs while leveraging the scalability and flexibility of AWS infrastructure. Responsibilities: Architectural Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable OpenText solutions within the publishing domain. Design robust architectures that align with industry best practices and leverage AWS services effectively. Implementation: Lead the implementation of OpenText solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and databases. Configure and customize OpenText modules to meet specific publishing workflows and requirements. AWS Integration: Utilize AWS services to optimize OpenText deployments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Leverage services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others to build resilient and scalable infrastructure for OpenText environments. Migration and Upgrades: Manage the migration of existing publishing systems to OpenText platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Plan and execute version upgrades, applying patches and updates as necessary to maintain system stability and security. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenText solutions on AWS, identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimizations to enhance system responsiveness and efficiency. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards within OpenText environments on AWS. Configure access controls, encryption, and auditing mechanisms to safeguard sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance. Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation for OpenText architectures, configurations, and processes. Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices for managing and operating OpenText solutions on AWS. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of OpenText solutions with business goals and objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as an OpenText Architect, with expertise in designing and implementing OpenText solutions within the publishing domain. Strong knowledge of AWS services and architecture, with hands-on experience deploying and managing workloads on AWS. Proficiency in configuring and customizing OpenText modules such as Content Server, Documentum, and Media Management. Experience with migration of legacy publishing systems to OpenText platforms. Solid understanding of security principles and best practices for securing OpenText environments on AWS. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred. OpenText certifications (e.g., OpenText Certified Documentum Architect) a plus.
