Job Title: Software Developer Type: Contract Location: Sunnyvale , CA(Hybrid) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Software Developer specializing in healthcare interoperability solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing secure, scalable microservices and integrating healthcare data using standards such as HL7, FHIR, and SMART on FHIR. This role involves creating an interoperability gateway to facilitate seamless data exchange between IoT medical devices, EMR/EHR systems, and other healthcare platforms using Azure cloud. Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop microservices for a healthcare interoperability gateway. 2. Implement data exchange protocols and standards such as HL7, FHIR, and SMART on FHIR using Azure API Management for secure API layer. 3. Ensure the security and privacy of patient data in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations. 4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 5. Ensure data security and privacy in compliance with HIPAA, utilizing Azure Security Center and Azure Key Vault 6. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 7. Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Requirements: 1. Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 2. Proven experience as a software developer with a focus on healthcare interoperability. (8yrs) 3. Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data standards. (8yrs) 4. Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development. (6-8yrs) 5. Familiarity with security protocols, data encryption, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR). 6. Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar. (8 yrs) 7. Deep understanding of Azure cloud services, especially Azure API Management, and Azure DevOps.
