Job Title: Product Owner Work Location: Pheonix, AZ / New York City (Onsite)-Locals Preferred Contract duration: 12+ months Responsibilities: Ensure alignment between the team's efforts and desired outcomes. Take charge of refining and prioritizing the team's backlog. Implement agile methodologies within a collaborative, dynamic product development setting. Manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories are in line with overarching product goals. Assist Product Manager(s) in identifying and resolving technical issues, both present and future. Lead the team in assessing platform changes necessary to support specific business features. Effectively plan and allocate team resources using Rally stories, while forecasting future capacity requirements. Ensure feature refinement meets the "definition of ready," with acceptance criteria completed to the "definition of done." Cultivate a culture of ownership, follow-through, and collaboration. Identify and address risks, challenges, opportunities, and integration needs. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the product scope. Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog in line with Outcomes and Product Roadmap. Collaborate closely with design and technology teams to develop, test, and deliver defined capabilities, iterating as needed. Conduct sprint-related or general functionality reviews and demonstrations with external partners and customers. Coordinate communication and resolution of risks, issues, and changes related to the product backlog. Create documentation highlighting gaps in the end user experience post-production launches.
