Please make sure that candidates job history has at least 2 years in each position. Also, our client likes candidates that have supported large enterprise environments. Night Shift: M-F, 11:30 pm - 8:30 am ET. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Overall maintenance, administration, monitoring, problem management, and production for Oracle databases. Daily maintenance including monitoring and database maintenance tasks. Database Upgrades to include working with project managers and managing individual projects for DB upgrades. Backup & Recovery Apply patches and upgrade database versions. Install and Build database structures. Develop and maintain shell scripts. Query and performance tuning Develop and maintain documentation. Program in PL/SQL Performance tuning of databases Reviews database design and make recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements. Maintains security and integrity controls. Develop stored procedures and/or triggers. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree and minimum 6 years experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree. Minimum of 6 years of Oracle production support DBA experience; specifically, RMAN, OEM, and RAC Experience with LARGE multi-node RAC databases. PROVEN experience with Oracle 19c databases. Knowledge or experience with Post Gres SQL Familiarity with architecture, both logical and physical design MUST be flexible and willing to work on-call, overnights and weekends as needed.
