| Share resumes at [email protected] Position: Senior Pega Developer (2 openings) Location : Remote Type: Contract Required skills: 8+ years solutioning and support of Pega applications and services Experience in Pega 8.8 or higher. Event Streaming Exposure to Pega integration with APIs Pega Developer: focus on the Clinical Operations Review Engine CORE which is the prior authorization review application. API Developer: focus on APIs supporting Clinical Services Daily Responsibilities/Job Description: Reviewing and recommending design solutions to meet business and operational value. Partnering with other engineers for code reviews and recommendations. Needs to work in partnership with existing Tech Lead: ability to step-in for and support the existing Tech Lead as needed and based on Product Team demands. Proactive and active daily engagement with Product team during sprint ceremonies and as needed outside of meetings. Collaborate cross-functionally with team members to achieve innovative, business-results driven technology solutions. Work with Product Owners and Analysts to vet and ensure Stories meet acceptance criteria and align with design solutions. Ensure on-time story delivery within 2-week sprint cycles, included Unit Testing is complete prior to QA. Partner with QA staff as they implement automated test scripts. Soft Skills Needed: Ability to speak up to address risk and opportunities. Strong problem-solving and analysis skills. Ability to transition abstract concepts into stable and supportable software solutions. Ability to develop unbiased options and recommendations to technical problems and unbiased comparisons. Ability to drive innovation and be forward thinking. Ability to work with other developers and leads to breakdown work plans. Able to explain technical work in a way that non-technical team members (Product Owners, Scrum Master) can understand.
