Ansible and scripting experience a plus. Server hardening techniques, including vulnerability remediation and privileged access management. Performance resiliency and disaster recovery testing Log aggregation and correlation using ELK (or equivalent technology) Experience with CI/CD deployment pipeline integration (preferred tools: Ansible, Jenkins, Nexus) Automating end-to-end workflows (SRE experience preferred) Maintenance and performance optimization Documenting workflows and providing evidence for audit reporting Demonstrable knowledge of containers, cloud technologies, and agile/scrum activities Understanding of Elasticsearch administration and troubleshooting Job Description: Independence Blue Cross has an opportunity for a Senior Unix Admin to join our RHEL server team as they transition to OpenShift both in our private and public cloud. The ideal candidate will have an affinity for technology and the Linux OS. Configures, installs, maintains, and upgrades computer systems hardware and software. Administers and maintains security of operating systems. Restores files or systems by designing, writing, and implementing back-up procedures. Provides operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment such as application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers, and storage devices. Performs recovery procedures, scheduling and back-ups and monitors batch processes.
