MUST BE LOCAL TO PA Job Description- RESPONSIBILITIES: -Maintain and support Laboratory Certification and other interfaces and systems used by the BOL through the following daily activities: system error monitoring and resolution, system code fixes, data fixes, and data validation. -Troubleshoot performance issues at the server, applications, and database levels. -Develop new and modified software code per business requirements that conforms to best practices and standards. -Assisting all software build and release activities for the PALIMS system, Laboratory Certification System, Laboratory Web Portal integration, and other interfaces and systems used by the BOL. -Assisting technical support activities related to the transition from the PALIMS system to a new LIMS. -Assisting creating and maintaining technical documentation that conforms to best practices and standards. -Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) established by HHSDC. -Utilize Azure DevOps for SDLC workflow and software code repository. -Provide status reporting conforming to intervals and standards mandated by the Applications Developer Administrator SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS -Visual Studio -.NET Framework -C#.NET - VB.NET - ASP.NET / WCF -Razor -HTML/CSS/JavaScript -XML/XSLT -Microsoft SQL Server 2016 -T-SQL -SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) -SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) -Azure DevOps -Windows Server 2016 -IIS -PowerShell -HL7 Messages (highly desired) -Rhapsody Integration Engine (highly desired) EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND -Minimum of 5 years of web focused, data driven software development using Microsoft .NET 4.5 or higher and SQL Server. -Minimum of 5 years designing and maintaining complex SQL Server databases, SSIS and SSRS solutions. -Minimum of 3 years developing web focused, data driven software development using Microsofts Entity Framework. -Web application development experience with Razor pages is highly desired. -Healthcare industry (focus on health information technology) is highly desired. -Federal, State, and Local government experience is highly desired. -Bachelors degree with a major in a relevant field is highly desired.
