Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications. Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of existing Cognos environments. Manage a team of Cognos developers, providing mentorship and ensuring best practices are followed. Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of Cognos solutions. Develop and enforce standards and processes for BI development and reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cognos applications and data. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the Cognos skill set of team members and end-users. Stay updated with the latest developments in Cognos and BI technologies and incorporate them into the team's work. Coordinate with other IT and data teams to ensure data integrity and integration across systems. Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience working with IBM Cognos BI tools. Proven experience in leading BI projects and managing teams. Technical Skills: Expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics, including Report Studio, Framework Manager, and Transformer. Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with ETL processes and tools. Experience with data modeling and creating OLAP cubes.
