Position: Design Engineer (Automotive) Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Onsite) Duration: Long term Contract Job Description: Detailed knowledge in the design of interior electromechanical and/or decorative products Extensive experience and a thorough understanding of the Automotive industry and product development processes In-depth experience of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within Design Engineering including basic stress-strain analysis, Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, tolerance stacks and root cause analysis UG NX & Team Center experience is a plus. Training will be provided as required. Directly interface with the Customer regarding product design, specification development, work requests and cost reduction activities; always represent BCS in a positive manner with our Customers.
