| Position : SQL/ETL Developer with ADF Location: Remote (must live in the U.S.) Shift : Monday - Friday 2:00-10:30 pm EST Visa : Green card or USC is preferred. The Opportunity We are seeking a talented Data Developer IV to serve as a data developer technical lead on enterprise data projects related to ETL development, production support, data triage, SQL development, or other related data initiatives. Day in the Life Advanced skills in the design, build, and review of SQL code, T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, SSIS and ADF pipelines for various reporting and data development projects. Exhibits excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technology and business leaders. Proven ability to translate complex data concepts into simple and easier terms in order to foster collaborative and effective working relationships. Uses advanced database knowledge to proactively resolve ETL (SSIS/ADF) defects in order to maintain fully functioning application software. Develops and reviews complex Azure Data Factory and Snowflake pipelines for various reporting and data development projects. Utilizes senior knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling methodologies, tools and best practices and makes recommendations to advance data management landscape to be cutting edge. Advanced skills in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data warehouse to extract, transform, and load data with security as a critical design requirement. As a technical lead, mentor and guide junior data professionals on data concepts, standards, security practices in order to grow their depth and breadth of the data platform. Serves as an advisor on data best practices and strategy with the team in Agile ceremonies to drive effective communication, feedback, and innovative thinking in the development process. Experience: College degree in CIS, Data Management, Data Analytics, or similar, or equivalent training and/or experience. 9+ years experience working in a data function or equivalent position where primary responsibility is working with data, SQL Server database design, and ETL development as the primary responsibility.
