Title: SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) CPI Location: Remote Contract/C2C Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management Solution Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite, including SAP Process Integration/ Process Orchestration and SAP Data Services, as well as experience with API management and integration architecture as well as hands-on development experience. Key Responsibilities Design and develop integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies, such as SAP PI/PO, and SAP API Management. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and testing plans. Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure that integration solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members. Conduct technical evaluations and provide recommendations for new integration projects. Collaborate with other teams, such as Basis, security, and database administrators, to ensure that integration solutions are properly implemented and supported. Manage and maintain APIs across the organization, including API design, development, testing, and deployment. Ensure API security, scalability, and reliability, and enforce API governance policies and standards. Monitor API performance and usage and make recommendations for improvements. Stay up to date with the latest developments in SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies and recommend improvements to our integration architecture and processes. Collaborate with other teams to ensure that integration solutions are properly integrated with other systems and processes. Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry standards and best practices. Provide 24/7 production support for critical integration solutions. - Design, architect, and implement end-to-end integration solutions using SAP BTP IS (Integration Service) to connect SAP and non-SAP systems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical solution designs. - Develop integration flows, mappings, and transformations within SAP BTP IS to enable seamless data exchange and process automation. - Configure and customize SAP BTP IS adapters, connectors, and protocols to integrate with various on-premises and cloud-based applications and services. - Design and implement error handling, message routing, and monitoring mechanisms within SAP BTP IS to ensure the reliability and performance of integration processes. - Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation, testing, and deployment phases. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity challenges. - Identifying the impacted systems and interfaces for initiatives, aligned to the Target Architecture - Inspecting and adapting their way of working for continuous improvement. - Acting as a key contact during development & testing cycle to ensure initiatives land smoothly. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Strong experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies, including SAP PI/PO and SAP API Management. Strong understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite architecture and design principles. Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite development tools, such as SAP Process Integration and programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy Script, and ABAP. Experience with API management and integration architecture. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Qualifications - Minimum of 5years of experience in solution design and development, with a focus on SAP technologies. - Proficiency in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services, including SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP Integration Suite. - Strong expertise in SAP BTP IS (Integration Service) including design, development, and administration of integration flows. - Proficiency in integration protocols and standards such as REST, SOAP, OData, and XML. - Experience with SAP BTP services such as SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. - SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP BTP Integration Services) are a plus.
