Responsibilities: - Designing, planning, and implementing VPN IPsec "site to site" connections between AWS and external networks - Configuring Palo Alto firewall "site to site" VPNs for secure data transmission MUST HAVE - Configure and fine-tune Palo Alto firewall settings for optimal security and performance - Set up High Availability (HA) pairs for critical infrastructure components - Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize configurations as needed - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of networking components with other infrastructure services - Document network configurations, guidelines, and best practices for future reference - Troubleshooting any issues related to VPN connectivity or firewall configurations - Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP - Knowledge of network security principles and technologies, including firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, and DLP Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field -At least 8+ years of experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure - Proven experience in designing and implementing VPN IPsec "site to site" connections on AWS - Hands-on experience with configuring Palo Alto firewalls for secure network communication - Familiarity with setting up High Availability (HA) pairs on AWS infrastructure - Strong understanding of networking protocols, IP addressing, routing, and subnetting - AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate) is a plus - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Keywords: Idaho REMOTE - AWS Technical Lead (Infrastructure side) [email protected] |
