Role: Mobile Software Engineer/ Lead (Flutter, React native, IOS/Android, Node,js, AWS,) Fully remote (needs to be eastern Standard time zone) Client- Mcgraw Hill GC/USC Client notes- This can be someone that has been a Sr dev (for at least 6 years) and leads a group of people but does not have the 'Lead' title Prefers not to have anyone on an H1B visa. What can you expect from the position Can successfully plan & execute projects involving multiple developers and complex requirements, prioritizing strategically while being focused on technical decision making Proactive in identifying and clearing roadblocks for the team Collaborate with engineers on your team on feature development and bug fixes Participate in the design and development of applications and services to support various business and engineering initiatives Promote engineering best practices within your team to ensure quality, stability, performance, resiliency, and maintainability of your software Work with Product Managers and the team to groom the product backlog Be a champion of the customers voice and ensure our products are built with customer empathy at the forefront Trusted to always share status with all stakeholders, and proactively remedy communication issues. Leads delivery of major initiatives on clear timelines and share knowledge and practices with other teams What can you bring to the role 6+ Years of experience in product or enterprise software development Proven technical abilities in the area of software development, testing, monitoring, performance tuning and deployment pipelines. Strong hands-on experience on the full software stack including Frontend, Backend / API, Databases, and Infrastructure Executes pragmatically, consistently delivering high-quality, non-disruptive releases.
