Title: Wireless Technologies Evaluation Engineer Location: Cupertino Description: In this role, you will be part of Product RF Definition team and support the Evaluation and Characterization of various technologies from RF perspective. Core Responsibilities: Bring up of the Lab Setup to demonstrate correct behavior of the setup. Run manual measurements in extreme cases to verify theoretical boundaries. Develop Matlab Models emulating new technology from PHY layer perspective with impairments and their correction. Create offline SDR that can modulate / demodulate symbols of a pre-defined technology. Develop software/code for automation and system tools. Work with lab equipment, components, and computing infrastructure. Development and execution of scripts, i.e., Python, to automate RF testing patterns and validation. Generation of verification/test report. Interface with other teams on software/tools infrastructure and maintenance nice to have. Be able to change/modify existing firmware code, compile, and reload nice to have.
