JOB DESCRIPTION Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our TechMod Strategy team under Emmy Olsen at State Street. This role is critical in supporting our cloud migration and application modernization initiatives. The Project Manager will facilitate meetings, track project updates, and assist application teams in their journey to the cloud, ensuring optimized and efficient workflows. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate and lead meetings, including deep dive sessions and workshops. Develop agendas, set meeting calendars, and manage calendar invites. Record meetings using Microsoft Teams, produce transcripts, and post recordings in Confluence. Track action items and project updates in Jira, assigning activities and ensuring target dates are met. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather status updates and maintain project timelines. Document processes, develop SOPs, and create process flows. Collaborate with various teams across IT, including application development, cloud engineering, and risk and compliance. Ensure all tasks are aligned with the overall project roadmap and deadlines. Must-Have Qualifications: Proficiency with Jira and Confluence. Strong project management skills, including meeting facilitation and coordination. Experience in IT project management, particularly within cloud-based projects. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. 7+ years of experience in project management or similar technical roles. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Familiarity with process improvement tools like Miro, Eris, and Kumunda. Knowledge of SDLC principles and the ability to explain them clearly. Experience with emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain.
