Job Details: Cloud Engineer Long term contract MST Time Zone Remote Opportunity W2 Contract Location: as close to US Mountain Time time zone as possible (but must be within 4 time zones of Mountain Time) in order to make it possible to collaborate in real-time. Job Description: As a Cloud Engineer on the AI/Client Product (AMP) Initiative Team, you will be responsible for working with fellow Cloud Engineer(s) on assisting the migration of our client's microservices from one AWS account to another. What experience you need: In-depth experience designing, writing, and troubleshooting GitLab-CI pipelines. General AWS knowledge and deep operational production experience particularly with leveraging AWS managed services (e.g. IAM, EKS, SNS, SQS, Route53, DynamoDB, S3, EFS, Lambda, KMS, ASM). In-depth experience with operating containerized applications on Kubernetes (EKS) clusters in a production environment. In-depth Experience with Docker. Experience with metrics, monitoring, and visualization tools (e.g. DataDog). Experience with a software development lifecycle (SDLC) approach to software engineering. Knowledge and experience with software development / operational command line utilities like Git, AWS CLI, k9s (or other Kubernetes CLI tooling), linux shell utilities. Awareness of Agile (especially "Scrumban) work management and team strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Absolutely must be a team player. Located as close to US Mountain Time timezone as possible (but must be within 4 timezones of Mountain Time) in order to make it possible to collaborate in real-time.
