| From: Hari krishna, 3K TECHNOLOGIES [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] JOb title:FinOps Location: Seattle ( Preferred ) or Dallas(Onsite) Job Description : This position is responsible for the design and implementation of FinOps framework, governance, KPI,dashboards to monitor cloud spending across all public and private cloud providers The following key activities will be performed by this role: Design, develop and maintain reports, Dashboards, and KPIs and analyze metrics based on available data. Support the cloud budget and monthly forecast process, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Monitor cloud consumption, detect cost anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and escalate anomalies to top management. Analyze and report cloud consumption across multiple cloud platforms and multiple Business Units and produce meaningful insights from Cloud usage monitoring tools. Track and report all cloud cost spending, along with researching new services to drive maximum value/lowest cost for organization. Assist and collaborate with cross-functional teams on Business Unit on understanding their cloud spend and achieving their FinOps objectives. Collaborate closely with Procurement in defining commitment discounts. Work closely with Finance teams to accurately forecast cloud spends and evolve the budgeting and forecasting process and tooling, as necessary. Develop FinOps Best Practices for the organization and implement them together with Application Teams Implement framework for FinOps principals, personas (roles), domains (areas of focus) and roadmap for Cloud FinOps to provide financial recommendations for cloud usage. Serve as a FinOps ambassador and responsible for the continuous improvement of the FinOps system. Background, Experience & Expected Skills: Knowledge and understanding of Public Cloud pricing schemes across AWS, Azure, GCP Experience with native and 3rd party Public Cloud cost management & advisory tools( AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Trusted Advisor, Azure Advisor, GCP Recommender, Kubecost etc.) Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships. Certification in FinOps Certified Practitioner AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred. Understanding of the core Finance & Accounting principles, a basic understanding of the accounting processes (budgeting, accruals, forecasting etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and strong experience with SQL, Kubernetes, Cloud Hosting, FinOps Cost and Usage Specification, etc., Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools (PowerBI, BigQuery, Excel etc.) Keywords: FinOps [email protected] |
