Position: SAP Project Management Office (PMO) Location: Houston, TX(Day one -Onsite) Must: SAP-PMO-Planner and controoler for SAP Projects/Program . good in governance and audit Role Overview: The SAP PMO plays a key role in ensuring the effective planning, execution, and governance of SAP projects within the organization. This position involves working closely with various stakeholders to drive project success, adherence to timelines, and alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for SAP implementation projects. Coordinate with project teams to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, taking proactive measures to mitigate them. Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Gather and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with SAP solutions and project objectives. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and risks. Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and best practices within the SAP PMO. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data security standards, and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular reviews and audits to assess project performance and adherence to established guidelines. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in project management, particularly in SAP implementation projects. Strong understanding of SAP modules, architecture, and integration with other systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar software. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is desirable. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information: This role may involve occasional travel to various locations for meetings, workshops, or training sessions.
