Role: Python Test Automation Engineer Location: Boston, MA (Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python to ensure the quality of software applications. Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test data. Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure the quality of the product. Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to understand product requirements and develop corresponding test strategies. Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes. Report and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve them. Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation code. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer, with a focus on Python. Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework). Proficiency in Python programming. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of behavior-driven development (BDD) and relevant frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). ISTQB certification or similar testing certifications. Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
