Job Title: TIBCO Architect (Hybrid) Location: New York, NY (3 days onsite per week- Relocation is fine) Duration: 18 Months Contract Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Platform Assessment: A. Assess business needs and propose how TIBCO component (Tibco BusinessWorks, Tibco EMS, Tibco Spotfire) features could help in designing better systems. Do a PoC. B. Compare various integration platforms for optimal output. Make the case to the decision makers. Do a PoC. Architecture Design: Develop and design scalable, robust, and high-performance integration architectures using Tibco products (e.g., Tibco BusinessWorks, Tibco EMS, Tibco Spotfire). Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation of integration solutions, ensuring they meet the functional and non-functional requirements. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices and quality standards are adhered to. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal operation of Tibco integration solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including design specifications, integration diagrams, and operational procedures. Innovation: Stay updated with the latest Tibco products and integration technologies, and evaluate their potential application within the organization. Troubleshooting: Resolve complex integration issues, providing expert-level support to development and operations teams. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT integration with recent 5+ years experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using Tibco products. Extensive experience with Tibco BusinessWorks, Tibco EMS, Tibco Spotfire, and other relevant Tibco products. Strong understanding of integration patterns, SOA, RESTful services, and micro services architecture. Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, and other relevant technologies. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
