From: Ansar Alam, Resource Consulting Services Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: ACBS Business Analyst Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid Duration: 6+ months Visa: No H1B/CPT Local candidates only Primary Functions: Participates on project teams supporting the development, modification, implementation and installation of new systems and applications. Translates high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications. Creates project artifacts such as use cases, user stories, activity diagrams, conceptual data models, and user interface prototyping. Develops the project testing and quality strategy. Assists developers throughout the project to promote better understanding, prevent and resolve defects. May conduct and drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage change requests. Provides final quality review prior to delivery. Prepares system documentation, training, and communications to stakeholders. Provides 2nd level customer support for technical inquiries on Bank products with a high degree of customer satisfaction. Major Duties Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define business and functional requirements. Develop detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows. Understand and analyze production issues. Work closely with offshore and onshore technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs. Perform system testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Interface between business partners, data source owners, and application developers to define requirements and use cases. Establish strong working practices with Operations Change and Operations users for efficient end-to-end delivery processes. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle and MS SQL programming. Strong understanding of commercial loan servicing (ACBS) and participation/syndication loan servicing systems. Ability to develop and tune ad-hoc reporting queries using SQL. Knowledge of financial instruments, XML, and data and infrastructure architecture disciplines. Other Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of project management techniques, with Agile methodology preferred. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to establish priorities and organize assignments, and to work effectively within timelines and under general supervision. Strong customer service skills. Experience with software testing, automated test experience preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Adaptability and collaboration within cross-functional teams Education Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience. Prior Work Experience 5-8 years of experience with IT systems implementations and software testing.
