COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION IS BELOW FOR YOUR REVIEW: Job title: Production Support (Splunk) Location: Denver, Colorado- Day 1 onsite || Local consultants only Hire Type: Contract Rate: 40 c2c Description (Skill Sets) Monitoring (eyes on glass), ticketing and office communications. As a member of the VOCC (Visa Operations Command Center) you will be on the front line of application and environment support. Members are directly responsible for error mitigation and escalation to advanced support teams in a 24x7 environment. Quickly and accurately assess the impact of a major system or application outage and communicate the impact to management. Use verbal and written communication skills to ensure that all activities and bridge calls are well coordinated, and incidents are accurately documented. Bridge the gap between technical staff and management during an incident. Act with a sense of urgency to drive incidents to resolution and provide analysis. Identify follow up items and areas for improvement and propose solutions. Program/Project Overview The role involves significant interaction with but not limited to: Monitoring (eyes on glass), ticketing and office communications. As a member of the VOCC (Visa Operations Command Center) you will be on the front line of application and environment support. Engagement Deliverable(s) Monitoring critical Tier 0 - DPS Forward Application - CAPS/HAPS/FWDAPI - Eyes on Glass - through various Monitoring tools like Netcool/Opera/Grafana Customer Ask I would like to add Technical Skills like Splunk, Application log monitoring (Grafana),Logging on to servers ,trouble shooting Application latency would be added advantage Customer Ask:- Production Support Resource should be having experience in production support environment responsible for application running as well as helping in escalation. Should have experience in Monitoring tools like Splunk. Response to handle shift alone as well as flexible to handle stand up calls. Experience in handling the escalations as wells as reporting incidents.
