Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and database usage patterns. Convert DB2 schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and other database objects to PostgreSQL equivalents. Develop and implement data migration strategies to ensure data integrity and minimal downtime. Optimize and fine-tune PostgreSQL databases post-migration for performance and scalability. Create and maintain scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Automate migration processes wherever possible to increase efficiency and reduce errors. Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Perform performance testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues. Validate the successful migration of all database components and data. Document all migration processes, configurations, and settings.
