Day-to-day responsibilities could include assessing the current functionality of the customer facing applications in a Mainframe environment (z/OS, CICS, DB2, MQ), conducting forensic analysis, end-to-end performance monitoring of applications, performance tuning, checking of batch jobs, dispatching priorities, and checking of capacity and velocity. Location: Candidate must reside in DC, Maryland, Virginia, or West Virginia. Position is primarily remote with once a month visit onsite within the region. Requirements: Senior-level experience working on Mainframe environment (z/OS, CICS, DB2, MQ) Senior-level experience in Performance engineering for applications running on Mainframe.
