What We Create With Typescript Node.js Next.js and React pnpm nrwl/nx GraphQL GitHub Kubernetes (k8s) Docker Jira Confluence Jenkins Zeplin What Youll Be Doing Designing and delivering code thats readable, maintainable, testable, scalable, reusable, and efficient Working in an Agile team with engineers, designers, and product managers to solve problems as part of a team Thinking from the customers perspective to recommend design improvements Collaborating with backend teams to design effective and understandable APIs Following established architecture patterns and suggesting improvements Implementing new features according to specifications Participating in code reviews for yourself and others Investigating and fixing bugs Building unit and UI tests Learning and implementing the latest technologies Mentoring fellow engineers (*On-call rotations during daytime hours to help our Support team solve problems for customers*) Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience as a software engineer HTML, CSS, and Javascript skills Ability apply software engineering fundamentals such as Design Patterns, Graph algorithms, and basic statistical analysis. Intermediate experience of Node.js fundamentals, JavaScript/TypeScript Basic experience with operating system fundamentals such as process management, ulimit, and memory management Intermediate level of understanding and usage of git and similar DVCS Experience in contributing to projects on a team in regards to coding, testing, troubleshooting and devOps administration.
