Job Title: AWS Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Location: Remote Duration: 6+ MonthsC2H Interview: Video Visa Type: USC only Job Description:- The Programmer/Analyst-Senior modifies existing software/application programs, which are typically more complex in nature, or writes new programs to support user and management needs. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health Ensure highly resilient, low latency, business continuity designs in multi regions application deployments Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions Monitor at the application level, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and recommend application configurations Optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 6+ years of related experience Ability to program (structured and OO) with Python or Java Strong with AWS network services (e.g., Route 53, CloudFront, Elastic Load Balancing) Experience with Cloud Formation A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks Solid understanding of the common challenges with migrations and modernization, the ability to choose the right path based on previous experience Experience of the full software development life cycle: from requirements gathering and functional specification authoring to development, testing, and delivery Expertise with application observ ability patterns and site reliability practices Extensive experience working with large distributed infrastructures Experience with AWS cloud platform - EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, and others Experience with DevOps tools - CloudFormation/Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, and others Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows, containers, databases, scripting Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work independently and multitask within a collaborative work environment Willingness and aptitude for continuous improvement Do the right thing attitude while being a strong team player Strong communication and collaboration skills, focus on customer service Previous success in technical engineering Coding experience beyond simple scripts AWS Professional Certification Experience with Jenkins Keywords: sthree Urgent Requirement || AWS Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) || Remote || USC || 6+MonthsC2H [email protected] |
