Python, Lambda, CloudFormation Using AWS in the middle stack Serverless (experience needed) Applications will be created from the inputs through Dynamo DB GIT for source control and code repositories Python will be the scripting language and used often in Lambda functions Mid-tier and backend development stack Manger is pushing for a rate increase but has not been approved for this yet. Application Engineer Experience: AWS Core Services: Cloudformation, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, Athena At least 5 years experience with Infrastructure as a Service AWS Serverless Infrastructure: Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway, Application Load Balancer 3+ years experience with build serverless applications Scripting & Programming: Python 5+ years experience React, TypeScript 3+ years experience Nice to have: AWS Processional Certificate EMR knowledge Docker & Kubernetes The work: This is a major platform initiative which will set the pace and direction for Analytics. Data Lake 2.0 is a multi-year program aimed at modernizing legacy analytics platforms. As we move away from legacy platforms, there remains a gap for analytics in the cloud. That means it takes longer than necessary for analytics teams to find the data they need to do their jobs. Once they find data, access can be challenging. In this role you will: Work with serverless cloud services to create integrations, APIs endpoints and related components Work on features and POCs with industry-leading technologies and tools Work on greenfield space to shape the modernization efforts for the analytics ecosystem Create automated tests for functional, performance, and security in order to ensure flexibility over time. Work alongside multiple lines of business and platform teams Create custom integrations between existing client tools, AWS components, and vendor products.
