Project Manager Location: West De Moines, IA Long Term Rates: $55/hr C2C JD Project Manager Description: looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Project Manager for Athene. You will be responsible for the administrative, coaching and leadership roles that make Scrum development/delivery possible. This role will also do coaching and mentoring 2-3 teams simultaneously on agile principles and project deliverables, driving teams to maturity. Embody agile principles, embed best practices, measure and improve agile maturity, identify and raise obstacles. Provide one-on-one and team coaching of ceremonies, artefacts, processes and practices. Responsibilities: Strong Knowledge of PI Planning, Sprint ceremonies, tracking impediments. Ability to multitask while supervising people IT project management including SAFe Agile Strategic planning Excellent communication skills Hiring/training/coaching skills Team Leadership Networking/negotiating skills Guiding team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers. Guiding team on how to get the most of out self-organization. Guiding team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks. Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organizationand coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that issustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. Removingimpediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the rightpersonnel to remove the impediment. Building atrusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear ofblame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing andproblem-solving. Facilitatinggetting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. Facilitatingdiscussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Assistingwith internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiatinginformation. Supportingand educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining theproduct backlog. Providingall support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, andleading by example Requirements: Efficient in partnering with Business stake holders and business sponsors to lead strategic initiatives Excellent knowledge in managing Complex Business initiatives, Strong communication skills and Leadership skills Ability to work with minimal guidance Self-starter and lead independently, Should be able to resolve conflicts.
