Title: ORACLE ERP & HCM CLOUD EXPERT/ ERP/HR Systems Integration BA

Duration: 12 Months 

Location: Springfield, MO 65802 - 75% Remote Role

JOB SUMMARY

An ERP/HR & Systems Integration / Business Analyst's role is: 

To advise, assist in planning, coordinate, and guide Clients in all activities related to integration of disparate legacy data and systems into new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) 

Expected to have high problem-solving capabilities: turn unstructured data into information, information into insight, and insight into educational and business decisions regarding hardware / applications 

To fully illustrate and document business discovery process: analyze current state through future state, give recommendations with insight, and support with documentation as job aids, ad-hoc reporting, and other assigned duties in the technical realm 

Is responsible for guiding Client in planning processes required for provisioning of user applications and systems necessary for integrated organizational operations 

Instruct Client administrators and management of on-premise and cloud-based applications and systems as well as the data mapping, transfer, integration, storage and reporting 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: 

This position reports directly to the Director of Consulting Services with a dotted line to the Project Manager onsite for project deliverables. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Plan, execute, and manage the Client integration of new application SIS (Student Information Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems into existing network infrastructure, systems, and software throughout the enterprise 

Participate in guiding Client in planning and development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with Client end-users and department managers 

Ensure any considered / new software integration into the organization systems meets technical / integration requirements, system compliance, data privacy, data warehousing, and other specifications 

Review, analyze, and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and recommend strategies for improving or leveraging these systems 

Map legacy systems to considered / new software, develop test scripts and testing data to prove efficacy, train client, automate wherever possible 

Work with Project Manager to scope, schedule, and prioritize domain project tasks 

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities 

Understand work and task scope, execute with tact and efficiency, communicate when necessary, and meet project deadlines 

Research and make recommendations to Client for OnPrem or Cloud hardware, software, and protocols as well as integration products and services in support of project 

Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy systems software, products, and / or enhancements to existing network infrastructure 

Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality 

Field project incoming problem tickets and help desk calls from end users during Go-Live to resolve issues within application, servers, databases, and other mission-critical systems 

Work diligently to help Client enhance or improve business processes via integration and automation, or as necessary, minimize impacts of integration on existing processes 

Evaluate results of project integration, then report and make recommendations based on findings 

Suggest policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure system security through secure system access, monitoring, control, and routine security evaluations 

Interpret data and analyze results using observational, qualitative, and quantitative methodologies and statistical techniques for documentation 

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets 

Filter and "clean data by reviewing data, computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems 

Coordinate and perform in-depth tests on integrations, including end-user reviews for modified and new systems 

Communicate application / integration problems and issues to project managers, key stakeholders and end users 

Monitor, test, and tune new information systems performance; provide system log files as needed 

Compile and catalog inventory of organizational software and system assets 

Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

Formal Education & Certification 

College degree in computer science and /or information systems with 15+ years work experience in related field preferred; School District experience required. 

Knowledge & Experience 

Hands-on systems integration, hardware, and software troubleshooting experience 

Good technical knowledge of current network hardware and standards 

Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, firewall management, and database administration 

Working technical experience with relational database servers 

Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies 

Ability to understand quickly Client organization's goals and objectives 

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy 

Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings to senior management 

Ability to use a wide variety of technologies and cloud services 

Strong experience with SQL and report writing 

A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Powershell) a plus. 

Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in a high availability, scalable, high transaction environment 

Strong preference given to experience with integration of school software such as Oracle Fusion ERP and/or Munis. 

Familiarity with MS Office, Visio, advanced Excel and PowerPoint desired 

Communication skills for the C-suite as well as the line and staff employees
