They understand how the data is created, manipulated, stored, and moved in technical system. Drives the operationalization of data governance across their business unit and is empowered to make decisions on behalf of the Business Data Owner. 3-5 years experience This person must have experience understanding how the data is created, the historical origin of the data. Needs to understand and analyze the data within the Business Unit and ensure the data within the Business Unit is well-managed. Must understand Data Governance and be able to enforce Data Governance. Must understand Data Governance industry and its best practices. Must be very TECHNICAL and not just an analyst. Must have working knowledge of SQL, Databricks, Big Data & Data Projects, Data Dictionary, and Data Lineage. Must be able to understand and manipulate data. Qualifications 3-5 years functional and technical expertise in at least 1 analytics or business intelligence application or product Familiarity of Data Dictionary, Data Lineage and Data Quality Experience with Data projects (Data Migration, Data Warehousing, Data Reporting) Working knowledge of: SQL, and Big Data (Data Bricks) Desired: Project management experience, as well as strong fundamentals in analytics, data integration, and visualization Advanced understanding of business line/competitive environment Strong change agent; effective communicator Must have technical data knowledge, and ability to handle Technical Data Steward responsibilities when none is assigned for respective data domains Experience with system administration (Azure, Microsoft and Power BI) Desired - In-depth knowledge and experience in Banking/Finance/Investments, familiar with terminology, concepts and business processes and systems Desired - Understanding of data governance industry best practices Desired -Familiarity with industry standards and regulations Bachelors degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Thanks & Regards, Parimala Technical Recruiter [email protected] Keywords: business intelligence green card Florida Virginia Senior Technical Data Steward [email protected] |
