Responsibilities: Reporting to Sr. IT Manager, the Systems Administrator will work autonomously to provide Infrastructure and Operations support to our MA Sites. This role requires the ability to travel to the assigned sites. The position's responsibilities include working with the IT team to provide general IT support to our client's growing worldwide employee base, taking a leading role in IT projects from conception through implementation and training, and participating in other IT-related initiatives as assigned. Additionally planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. Analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems. Responsibilities for System Administrator: * Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization, network equipment, firewalls * Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes. * Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues * Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure * Perform or troubleshoot regular backup operations * Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions Qualifications for System Administrator: * System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft or other network-related fields are a plus. * Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols. * Experience running scripting and automation tools. * A proven track record of implementing IT strategy and plans.
