Position: Work Management Specialist Location: Springfield VA Durtion: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: phone and Video Job Description: He's specially looking for someone with ARM software experience, that can come in on-site 2 days a week. Vaccination required: Yes Position Summary Responsible for the supporting the Operation business in ensuring the Companies work management system(s) meets ongoing daily business needs as well as work management systems program oversight. Supports the analysis needed to facilitate work management systems related business decisions. Ensures customers' requirements are identified and documented to help guide work management system's actions and decisions. Makes ongoing cost and benefit determinations in support of work management systems operational business activities. Supports end user testing for all system fixes, updates and enhancements. Develops and provides end user training as necessary. Performs regular data validation activities to ensure the quality of system data and works with BP to remedy issues as they are identified. Tasks and Responsibilities * Conducts work management-based data gathering and analysis to identify areas for improvement and works with BP to identify and implement solutions * Maintains an in depth understanding of the inter connectedness between key systems and the work management, to assist with troubleshooting related issues and to help mitigate any unanticipated negative impacts associated with related system modifications/upgrades * Serves as the business intelligence liaison, identifying the means and methods necessary to gather and analyze data to meet internal and external reporting requirements * Uses systematic processes to evaluate the approach to work activities and recommend efficiency improvements supported by work quality measures and reporting * Collaborates with BP and other business areas as necessary to develop both short- and long-term initiatives to improve the performance and functionality of the Companies work management system * Provides leaders in Operations data and analysis that supports decision making processes and improves performance and compliance for regulatory reporting and other company initiatives * Maintains knowledge of work management system systems and industry leading practices * Identifies existing system or under-utilized functionality which can be leveraged to improve processes/performance * Identifies skills/training gaps and develops training and implementation plans to improve performance and processes Qualifications, Skills and Abilities * High School Diploma/GED required * Associate's Degree business or technical field is preferred preferred * 2+ Years working in and with work management systems required required * Experience in utilizing computer technology and company data management systems and databases * Experience working with utilities, project management, and/or contractor fields preferred * Experience writing Business requirement documents and/or User Stories desired * PMP or six sigma certification a plus * Demonstrated experience in conducting process evaluation and identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement * Familiarity with the energy industry preferred * Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse audiences at all levels, both verbally and in writing * Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors, subordinates, and peers * Demonstrated ability to produce sound data-based documents containing both operational and financial information and the associated narrative * Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects with competing timelines Keywords: |
