Position: Salesforce Platform Developer Duration: 12 months Contract Location: Lansing, MI ( On-site from Day 1 with Hybrid) Direct Client: State of Michigan Note: Only Locals to Michigan Note from the client: Interview Process: In-person interview required. Vendor required to upload screenshot picture of candidate if interview is requested . Interview Process: 1st round of interviews will be virtual via MS Teams video. Please use a laptop and be prepared so share screen if asked. 2nd round of interviews will be conducted in person. Candidates must be able to attend a face-to-face interview Candidate must be available for onsite from DAY 1 in Lansing , MI there will be HYBRID work model i.e. candidate is required to work 2 days from office & 3 days remote!!! Top Skills & Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience using Force.com platform"s out-of-the-box functionalities and customize the application based on Apex coding or configurations. 5+ years of experience with Service Cloud or Gov Cloud. 4+ years of programming experience with Visualforce, Lightning Weight Components (LWC), Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript within the Salesforce platform. 3+ years of Apex API Integration. Description: The Programmer Analyst 4 will be responsible for development, design, and implementation of customizable solutions within Salesforce based on CRM needs. Responsibilities: Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and any future enhancements. Ensure that the technical requirements tie back to the established customer requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the client"s long-term strategy. Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code. Has overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments Compile internal development guidelines/standards for the development team and ensure the team is following those standards. Collaborating with Developers for other systems to integrate across the business. Ensures the proposed solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle. Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability to communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice at the decision-making table. Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth and successful transition to Maintenance & Operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Required Skills: At least 5 years of experience using Force.com platform"s out-of-the-box functionalities and customize the application based on Apex coding or configurations. At least 4 years of programming experience with Visualforce, Lightning Weight Components(LWC), Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript within the Salesforce platform At least 5 years of experience with Service Cloud or Gov Cloud. At least 3 years of Apex API Integration. Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or other DevOps Tools Exposure to Data Migration, Salesforce Object Query Language( SOQL), Salesforce Object Search Language(SOSL), Data Loader, Salesforce Object DML operations.
