Job Role: Enterprise Data Architect Duration: 6 months+ Location: Remote local only Tallahassee, FL Must-have skills: 5+ y of exp as Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Steward, or similar role; Leadership exp with managing and completing complex projects relevant to server/database infrastructure services; SQL and other relational database management systems (mySQL, MongoDB, SAS); data visualization tools (tableau, D3.js, or R or similar); Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or other Enterprise Architecture frameworks. PREFERRED : governmental exp, Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF). Requirements: Experience with large and complex database management systems (5+ years or 7+ years); Experience with providing technical support for maintenance of new and existing servers and database infrastructure services (5+ years or 7+ years); Experience in cloud architecture and implementation; Leadership experience with managing and completing complex projects relevant to server/database infrastructure services; Experience with architecture, applications, systems design, and integration; Experience with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and/or familiarity with other Enterprise Architecture frameworks; Experience designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores, and data marts (5+ years). Preferred: Experience as Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Steward, or similar role; Experience in data mining and segmentation techniques; Experience in SQL and other relational database management systems (MySQL, MongoDB, SAS); Experience with data visualization tools (tableau, D3.js, and R). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Providing overall direction, guidance, and definition of an enterprises architecture to effectively support the FLWINS Program; Researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies; Interfacing across several business areas, acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects; Conceptualizing solutions, building consensus, and the selling and execution of such Solutions; Conducting design reviews for smaller enhancements and larger fixes; Setting standards and best practices for solutions; Identifying areas of technology impacted by new requests.
