We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a PostgreSQL Database (Google cloud database) Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and supporting our organization's PostgreSQL database infrastructure. Responsibilities: Collaborate with IT team and stakeholders to identify, design, and implement database enhancements. Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and errors in a timely manner. Perform database migration tasks, including data extraction, transformation, and loading. Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models and entity relationship diagrams. Support the development team in writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database access. Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends and make recommendations for improvement. Understanding network and network operation is plus. Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience working with PostgreSQL databases Strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques Experience with database tools and utilities such as pgAdmin, psql, and pgbouncer Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
