| Java AWS Developer Hybrid in Atlanta, GA (Must be Local) 1+ Year No H1B and CPT Note: Need strong java backend profile on this req with strong experience in AWS, API gateways, java, springboot, etc. There will be a technical screening call as well on teams so candidates should be available for 15-20mins to take that call today only. The candidate needs to be local as 2nd round will be in person. Candidate should have: 8+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, and Python development. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, focusing on Java Spring and related technologies. Hands-on experience with JPA and Hibernate for database integration. Proficiency in OpenShift PaaS deployments. Strong knowledge of AWS server technologies, including S3, Lambda, VPC, Route53, MSK, Kinesis, Aurora, RDS, and DynamoDB. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with GitHub/GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, and Spring Boot. Skilled in writing and designing unit test cases using TDD and BDD methodologies. Experience with virtualizing services for test automation using tools such as Wire Mock and Mockito. Hands-on experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI. Experience with relational and object databases, web service development standards, and practices, including RESTful APIs and micro-services. Experience working in an agile development environment using workload management tools like VersionOne/Agility. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Qualification: AWS Certification. DevOps and/or automation experience in code testing, building, and deployment. Experience in the airline industry. Knowledge of Linux operating systems. Experience with OpenShift and MQ. Job Responsibilities: Develop efficient and effective software using Java, NodeJS, Python, Spring Boot, Microservices, and APIs. Enhance and maintain on-prem and internal PaaS applications, migrating them to AWS according to project timelines. Design and implement serverless patterns from containerized applications. Build industry-standard APIs and establish, consume, and route calls, connectivity protocols, and policies. Design, develop, and implement architecture patterns optimized for SLAs, reliability, and cost. Anticipate future consequences of immediate technical choices by looking upstream and downstream. Establish and grow a culture of software craftsmanship, including TDD/BDD, Test Automation, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment. Drive performance improvements through monitoring, metrics, problem-solving, and process changes. Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance with privacy regulations early in development. Resolve and prevent technical debt aggressively. Engage in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Collaborate to share ideas and gain perspective, communicating critical information clearly and timely. Lead code reviews and continuous improvement efforts. Create usable documentation and playbooks. Analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs and communicate these across the team. Optimize pace and meet deadlines. Administer product upgrades and patches. Support team members with troubleshooting and maintenance of production systems/programs/applications. Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation.
