The main 3-5 responsibilities Mainly focused on Golang and API development. Backend role, expecting candidate who knows how to write rest API, with Golang code specifically. Should be able to take requirements for end points and to think about the database required, how to test APIs, write GitHub actions, and some understanding of Kubernetes, and GCP/AWS services. As a backend developer they will be expected to develop an API, they need to have some understanding of GCP and/or AWS and should have knowledge on what the task being requested is. TOP Critical Skills or Must Haves skills: Golang (2+ years) 2. Restful API and microservice exp 3. GCP and/or AWS experience with several services OOP experience, knowledge about Golang packages and building services and CLI from scratch. Must have GCP and/or AWS experience. Must have Docker knowledge. 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer Primary experience on backend using Golang for 3+ years Experience working with Go standard libraries, REST API development, microservice architecture and OOP concepts. Experience building features and maintaining Golang and PHP projects. Experience building microservices in Golang and building shared libraries. Experience with container technology and management such as Docker. Experience working with Cloud/SaaS services such as Amazon AWS or Google Cloud Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study Nice to Haves: Knowledge about video or HLS / DASH technologies is nice to have. Knowledge about video encoding / packaging is nice to have Experience with AVC, HEVC, VP9, AV1, AAC video and audio codec standards. Experience with media containers , transcoding and packaging technologies. Experience with technologies like Kubernetes, EKS / GKE is a plus. Strong experience with video broadcasting and streaming media standards. Role Details: The role will be an integral part of the Video Streaming and Engineering team, working with video engineers to build and release products for various platforms like Desktop, OTT, Mobile.
